In 1994 I have founded National-Bolsheviks party. I was so sick of conventional politics that I have decided to create some entirely new idiology based on style. Much later I have declared that National-Bolsheviks were in existence before National-Bolsheviks Party was created. Yes, when in 1994 somebody asked Egor Letov, Russian punk idol, why he is so poorly dressed, I was present in that moment. Letov answered that he is wearing clothes which his admirers normally wear. “And they are poor people, you know,” explained Letov. “That why I wear cheap baskets, he pointed at his sneakers.”
Taking example from Letov we have recommended to our followers in few first issues of “Limonka” to wear black jeans, black footwear, to cut their hair short. That was precisely those clothes that poor moscovits youngsters were sporting in those days, and now. So our party style was an imitation of street style. In that very sense it is true that National-Bolsheviks were valking streets of Russian cities before National-Bolsheviks Party was created. Black is very practical colour, stains and dirt are less visible on black clothes. Later some vise journalists wanted to tie our black clothes to fascist black shorts. I always pointed out that poor moscovites youngsters are dressing up in black. And short hear is practical, it doesn’t require much care.
“Go to the citizens’ homes, go to colleges, to student residences…”
Thursday, February 17th, 20051. Instigators
For the two weeks that passed since the publication of the last “General Line” issue one can ascertain a bigger yet pressure on the NBP from the power and its lackeys. One should note the attack on the party premises in the capital on January 29th by forty unknown people looking like students of a cop academy. And also the public declaration of Moscow’s GUVD [ministry of interior] head the general Pronin V.V. that happened a day before, on January 28th. One should cite the official “Russian Gazette”: “The subject was about the recent bombing near the Moscow bank office. The GUVD head confirmed that a student was arrested on the case. The general didn’t mention his name, however he expressed his certitude that they caught the right person. It was said that most probably the detainee didn’t commit the crime autonomously and that some organized group is behind him. (more…)
Glory to the party!
Monday, December 20th, 20041.So, the V congress of our party took place. Moscow’s police and the special services breathed with relief and got sleep at last. Above (somewhere above) obviously the decision was taken not to counteract us, avoid a confrontation with us. One journalist accredited on the congress expressed the opinion that the power took seriously my announcement on a November 24th press conference that “the congress will be carried out even if we’re going to be shoot at”. We proved the firmness of our organization, we turned out to be stronger than ever the Russian Popular Unity was in 1999 when they were not allowed to have a congress and the delegates obediently returned home. That trick didn’t work with us. The congress took place and demonstrated our strength. About eight hundred national-bolsheviks declared about their strength in Moscow on November 28th, 29th, 30th and December 1st. (more…)
The NBP Will
Tuesday, April 1st, 2003
The Manifesto “the NBP Will” is based on the ideas of the Leader expounded in the book “Another Russia”. The Manifesto reasonably combines these oracular ideas with the real experience of fighting saved up by the Party.
The Manifesto is not the NBP-program, not a concrete plan of action. It is more exact to name it a clot of the Party will put into words. The Party Energy concentrated into a fist.
