Thursday, September 1st, 2005It is a bad sign when headlines start to get confusing. Didn’t I read this before, a couple of weeks, or maybe a month, ago? Did an underpaid hack, suffering from a hangover on a slow news day, decide to do some creative recycling? Or are news stories starting to run together in my head for some other reason — perhaps because certain things are happening over and over again?
I had that feeling of deja vu when I read about the Monday attack on National Bolshevik Party activists. As many as 30 people, armed with baseball bats and, according to some eyewitnesses, with gas pistols firing rubber bullets, attacked a meeting of opposition youth groups attended by NBP members. At least three people were seriously injured. I felt like I had read this news item a couple of times before. No wonder: well-organized thugs had already attacked NBP activists three times this year, in March and in January during their meetings and once, in February, when a group of activists was returning from a rally. Glory to the party!
Monday, December 20th, 20041.So, the V congress of our party took place. Moscow’s police and the special services breathed with relief and got sleep at last. Above (somewhere above) obviously the decision was taken not to counteract us, avoid a confrontation with us. One journalist accredited on the congress expressed the opinion that the power took seriously my announcement on a November 24th press conference that “the congress will be carried out even if we’re going to be shoot at”. We proved the firmness of our organization, we turned out to be stronger than ever the Russian Popular Unity was in 1999 when they were not allowed to have a congress and the delegates obediently returned home. That trick didn’t work with us. The congress took place and demonstrated our strength. About eight hundred national-bolsheviks declared about their strength in Moscow on November 28th, 29th, 30th and December 1st. (more…)

According to friend of mine, Ukranian politician, Russian Government have sended about two milliard dollars only at first presidential vote of Ukranian elections. 870 million dollars of those two billions were money due to Russia as a payment for Russsian gas. Russian professionals of elections proudly have made a fortune at first tour of Ukranian election. Notorious specialist of dirty tricks Gleb Pavlovski alone earned 24 million dollars, according to my source.
I am writing on the very eve of second round of Ukranian elections, when two thirds of ballots are counted and official results are about one percent for Mr. Yanukovitch ahead of Mr. Yushchenko. I am writing in the middle of pause suddenly announced by Central Electoral Commition of Ukraine, a pause in counting of ballots. When it is a pause announced in Eastern Europe country, one should be aware that something is going wrong for the government. And government hopes that during pause it can do something to help itself: to cheat people of course. (more…)
Putin, Go Home, Fishing!
Friday, September 17th, 2004President Putin’s life have abruptly changed. After September 3rd his life looks like irreparable failure, personal tragedy. At his television appearance on September 4, President was pale, nervous, visibly out of balance. Because his tactics were not admittance of very existence of Chechens separatists, he was pretending that they are just small problem of police security.
First huge blow, however, was delivered to President Putin by seizure of theater on Dubrovka in October 2002. Immediately after he gave the order to organize presidential elections on Chechen territory. And Akhmad Kadyrov was elected President. At that time I have had a strong impression that Putin have decided to let Kadyrov’s men and Maskhadov’s men to settle their problems without Russian Army. I have waited on Army to be withdrawn from Chechnya. (more…)

September 14, 10 a.m. I’am alerted by telephone call from Party headquarters. Our boys have occupied carriage of “Moscow-Kaliningrad train” - said voice.”They just called by mobile-phone from that carriage. From lituanian rail-way station Kena, on the border.”
“Who they are?” asked I.
“Collected team from Moscow, Saint-Petersbourgh, Omsk, Nijni Novgorod, Briansk, Tula and Orenbourgh, also Tcheboksari. Sixteen camarades. They have chained themselves to a metal frames of carriage, then they teared to pieces lituanian transit visas. ‘We are going from Russia to Russia. We don’t need visas,’ – they said to lituanian frontier guards.
