Putin, Go Home, Fishing!

President Putin’s life have abruptly changed. After September 3rd his life looks like irreparable failure, personal tragedy. At his television appearance on September 4, President was pale, nervous, visibly out of balance. Because his tactics were not admittance of very existence of Chechens separatists, he was pretending that they are just small problem of police security.

First huge blow, however, was delivered to President Putin by seizure of theater on Dubrovka in October 2002. Immediately after he gave the order to organize presidential elections on Chechen territory. And Akhmad Kadyrov was elected President. At that time I have had a strong impression that Putin have decided to let Kadyrov’s men and Maskhadov’s men to settle their problems without Russian Army. I have waited on Army to be withdrawn from Chechnya. (more…)

Revolution in Russia, instead of war in the Chechen Republic

Recently in party circles I had to hear opinions more than once, that, war in Chechen Republic should be stopped immediately by means of withdraw the Russian army therefrom, and to give independence to Chechens. Such reasonings are supported with arguments that Russia - is not capable to crush and destroy gangs of terrorists, and continuation of war promotes creation of a police state.  (more…)
